Information about nsp2

Description

The functions of NSP2 remain unknown. It may play a role in the modulation of the host cell survival signaling pathway by interacting with two host proteins, prohibitin 1 (PHB1) and PHB2. Indeed, these two proteins have been implicated in cellular functions, including cell-cycle progression, cell migration, cellular differentiation, apoptosis, maintaining the functional integrity of the mitochondria, and protecting cells from various stresses.
